Holistic Psychotherapy for Total Wellbeing
Lindsay Chapin, MSW, LSW - Therapist, Community Connections Coordinator and Groups Assistant
Hey there! I’m Lindsay, a licensed social worker (LSW) providing therapy from a client-centered, strength-based approach. I hold a deep appreciation for the holistic and subjective nature of each person’s experience, believing in the importance of taking the whole body and mind into account throughout the entirety of the healing process. Making the decision to seek therapy is courageous and I applaud you for taking steps towards feeling like you again.
When you walk into a session with me, my first priority is that you feel truly welcomed — exactly as you are. I bring a warm and collaborative-approach, rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life and story. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, tools, and perspective while honoring your inner wisdom and lived experience.

I believe in consistently adapting our treatment modalities and goals to meet your unique needs as we work together. Therapy with me is a partnership—We'll combine your strengths with my clinical knowledge to create a space that supports healing, growth, and self-understanding.

Clients often tell me they feel deeply heard, seen, and valued in our sessions. My hope is that, no matter what you're carrying, you feel supported in every step of the therapeutic process.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Social Work from Millersville University. Before entering the world of therapy, I spent nearly 6 years serving the community as a probation and parole officer with the County of York. While I veered away from the criminal justice field, I gained invaluable knowledge and experience. I came alongside clients as the struggled with substance use challenges and trauma while overcoming additional barriers as they reintegrated into the community. That experience sparked a passion for a deeper and more personal connection and growth into social work—ultimately leading me to Sage’s practice, where I first began interning in August 2024.
Outside of work, I find joy in the little things: spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, connecting with animals, journaling, and browsing local farmers markets and antique shops. I also have a soft spot for giving new life to clearance-section plants.
I am so very grateful for the opportunity to walk beside you and support you throughout this journey.
